SCAPE MAGAZINE - 4th Edition

Scape Magazine is a fashion and photography magazine that, in an artistic and conceptual way, presents themes that permeate all its photographic creations. In the fourth edition of the magazine, the concept addressed was "redefining", an ode to breaking away from the commonplace and constructing different perspectives of the world as a protagonist. This theme guides the entire fashion editorial - photography, texts, and layout.

To represent the main idea of the magazine, it was pertinent to create a visual work that broke expectations with creativity. The concept of redefining, combined with design, promotes the subversion of traditional editorial techniques.

Frames and white spaces corroborate new meanings created by photographs and induce the reader's gaze outside the commonplace. In the layout, there is a dance between letters and phrases, which follow the rhythm of the texts and invite dynamic reading. The use of more than one typography, in turn, was inspired by the idea of transformation and diversity. In the entries, the format used is the traditional dictionary format, but it brings new meanings to words already known.

In this solution, typographic exploration and the deconstruction of layouts begin to break patterns and transform signs and meanings, texts into images, and words into symbols.
